Our purpose built, award winning premises in Leamington Spa are within easy reach of Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon and Coventry and has plenty of free parking right outside.
We have a comfortable reception area staffed by our friendly team of three, and there is separate disabled access for wheelchairs – ring in advance and we will assist you.
Although the clinic is housed in an old building the interior is bright and modern and equipped with up to date treatment equipment.
Insurance
The Cloisters is recognised by all major health insurance providers in the UK and the team treat patients insured with AXA Health, Bupa, Western Provident Association(WPA) and Healix.
Patients should discuss their need for physiotherapy with their insurance provider before contacting The Cloisters. In order to make an appointment, Reception staff will require a policy/membership number, the authorisation code given by the provider and the number of sessions authorised.
Occasionally, patients with cover with Aviva, Bupa Global and AXA Global Healthcare have treatment authorised with us but patients should check the detail of their policy with the provider first.
The Cloisters will revert to the patient for payment of any excess once the claim has been considered by their provider.
Patients who have a ‘cash plan’ insurance policy will be supplied with a detailed receipt in order to make a claim against their plan.
Facilities at The Cloisters
The Cloisters is a purpose built clinic within an historic building, carefully adapted with the original features and style retained while offering bright, spacious and modern accommodation.
The building was built in 1847 as a stable and coach house for a large villa on Willes Road and converted to its present use in 1989 prior to opening on 2 April 1990 – winning a Leamington Society award for the refurbishment. It still has the original ironwork at some of the windows and the hayloft was made into further consulting and staff rooms.
It is one of only a few buildings in Leamington with its original unpainted exterior render.
The clinic has five individual treatment rooms, a rehabilitation gymnasium and three second-floor counselling rooms. The comfortable Reception and Waiting Area is staffed by our friendly team and there is separate disabled access for a wheelchair – please ring in advance for assistance.
Leamington room hire
We have a number of rooms available for hire, with availability during clinic opening times but also outside these regular hours and at weekends.
All are located on the second floor accessed by stairs. If a room with disabled access is required arrangements can be made on an ad hoc basis and subject to availability.
The rooms can be reserved using our online booking system which allows users to book, edit and delete bookings at any time. Room hire clients are invoiced monthly for the accommodation they have used.
The Cloisters is within easy reach of Leamington Spa town centre and has plenty of free street parking close by.
